We are so excited to have Anne teaching at our 2019 Retreat, Enjoy this 3-day workshop with Anne creating beautiful unique surfaces and experimenting with thread, colour and

your own creative design journey.  Anne is a well known Textile Artist, Author and Tutor and has taught all over the world, come along and join in her workshop here in Urunga on the Mid-North Coast of NSW.
Birds – are everywhere in textile art at the moment – You will make a small bird stencil using a mixture of contemporary and vintage images as source material. This will then be printed onto various types of fabric and used in a range of samples. these can then be incorporated into larger pieces and embellished further by hand and machine with Anne’s guidance along the way. Michelle Mischkulnig 10-12th May Retreat
Glorious Wearable Art 3 day workshop

These very special wearables are created by enjoying the organic folds of exclusively hand dyed silk fabrics and fibres, using free motion stitching to draw them together. You will be able to dress yourself up with the bag and scarf and make a wearable art statement or wear them individually. If you don’t want to make a scarf and bag the same techniques will make glorious cushions, table runner or even lampshades there are ensiled possibilities. The scarf is reversible with a different colour way on each side to change it up to suit your mood or outfit.
